πβ¨ Holiday Scam Alert β From Your STPFCU Family β¨π
Itβs the most wonderful time of the yearβ¦ and also the time when scammers try the hardest.
We just want to help keep you and your money safe while you enjoy the season. β€οΈ
Here are a few Christmas reminders wrapped with a little extra cheer:
π Keep your personal information protected.
No matter how convincing someone sounds, STPFCU will never ask for your online banking login, verification codes, card number, or PIN. If someone does β itβs a scam.
π Watch out for those βtoo good to be trueβ holiday deals.
Scammers love popping up with fake sales, especially on social media. If it feels off, trust your instincts.
π Be careful sending money through Apple Cash, Cash App, Zelle, or gift cards.
These are favorites for scammers because the money moves fast.
π Double-check charities before donating.
Scammers know people are more giving during the holidays β make sure the organization is real.
π Monitor your account often.
A quick look in Online Banking can catch issues early.
If something doesnβt seem right or you just want reassurance, weβre always here for you.

Wishing you a safe, joyful, and scam-free Christmas season π π½πβ¨
